Rules and Regulations for Travel Agency
Manaseek International Sdn Bhd ("Manaseek"), hereby acknowledge that you have agreed to all the terms and conditions set forth as follows:
1. Registration and Verification:
a. Travel agencies must register and create a verified account on Manaseek Online Marketplace to list their products and services.
b. Valid and up-to-date documentation, licences, and certifications related to the travel agency's operations must be provided during the registration process.
c. The travel agency must provide accurate and complete information about their services, including pricing, itineraries, availability, and any additional charges or fees.
2. Compliance with Laws and Regulations:
a. Travel agencies must comply with all applicable local, regional, and national laws and regulations related to the travel industry.
b. All products and services offered by the travel agency must be in accordance with the laws and regulations of the respective destination(s) and must not encourage illegal activities.
3. Product and Service Quality:
a. The travel agency must ensure the quality and accuracy of the products and services listed on Manaseek Online Marketplace.
b. All descriptions, images, and information provided about the products and services must be truthful, clear, and not misleading.
c. The travel agency is responsible for promptly addressing any customer complaints, inquiries, or issues related to their listed products and services.
4. Pricing and Payment:
a. The travel agency must clearly display the prices of their products and services, including any applicable taxes, fees, or surcharges.
b. Any additional charges or fees that are not included in the initial price must be explicitly stated.
c. Accepted payment methods should be clearly communicated to customers, and the travel agency must ensure secure and reliable payment processing.
5. Cancellation and Refunds:
a. The travel agency must clearly define their cancellation and refund policies for customers and clearly communicate them on Manaseek Online Marketplace.
b. The cancellation and refund policies should be fair, transparent, and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
c. The travel agency should process cancellations and refunds promptly and provide timely communication to customers regarding the status and progress of their requests.
6. Customer Privacy and Data Protection:
a. The travel agency must handle customer information and personal data in accordance with applicable data protection and privacy laws.
b. Customer data should be securely stored and protected from unauthorised access, use, or disclosure.
c. The travel agency must obtain necessary consents from customers for collecting, processing, and using their personal information.
7. Ethical Business Practices:
a. The travel agency must adhere to high ethical standards and conduct business in a fair, honest, and professional manner.
b. Unethical practices such as false advertising, unfair competition, or misleading information are strictly prohibited.
c. The travel agency must not engage in any form of discrimination or harassment based on race, religion, gender, nationality, or any other protected characteristic.
8. Termination of Account:
a. Manaseek reserves the right to terminate or suspend the travel agency's account if they violate any of the rules and regulations mentioned herein.
b. In case of account termination, the travel agency must cease promoting their products and services on Manaseek Online Marketplace immediately.
